1. Introduction

Statmile ("we", "us", "our") operates a B2B market intelligence platform focused on the electric vehicle industry. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at statmile.com.

By using Statmile, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. What we collect

We do not collect payment card details directly — payments are processed by Stripe, who have their own privacy policy.

3. How we use your data

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data retention and deletion

Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@statmile.com.

5. Data sources

Our data is sourced from publicly available datasets. Statmile does not own the underlying EV market data. What we provide is a curated aggregation service: we collect, normalise, and structure data from authoritative public sources, and layer on top AI-powered analysis, interactive visualisation, and report generation tools.

Statmile processes and aggregates this data in good faith but does not independently verify or guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. The original data publishers are solely responsible for the content of their respective datasets. 6. What Statmile adds

Statmile's value is not the raw data — it's the infrastructure and intelligence built on top of it:

7. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication (managed by Clerk) and local browser storage for saved charts and reports. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication is handled by Clerk, a SOC 2 Type II certified provider. We apply standard security practices to our infrastructure.
